Alfanar is the first venture philanthropy organisation in the Arab World. We fund and support social enterprises solving the most pressing challenges in their communities to amplify their impact and financial returns.

Alfanar, in partnership with SPARK and Impact Europe, has launched two EU-funded programmes –From Innovation to Creation and Impact Together – to support existing and/or emerging social enterprises (SEs) in Jordan who are committed to building their strategic outlooks and scaling their financial sustainability and impact.

Our four-month accelerator will provide five high-impact SEs with Alfanar’s Sustainable Social Enterprise Training (ASSET) programme, management support, and mentorship. SEs will also be eligible to receive up to €15,000 in funding.

By supporting locally-led SEs, the programme aims to drive systemic change, foster sustainable solutions, and empower marginalised groups – including women, youth, migrants and refugees.
